How to block or unblock a member of the event
You can restrict access to an event for unwanted users by blocking them. Blocked users are automatically removed from the event, cannot view its content, leave comments, or even open the event via a direct link.
To block or unblock a user in an event, use one of the following two methods:
1. Through event settings:
Go to your event's page.
Click on the Settings tab in the menu under the event cover.
Select Members.
In the All Members list, find the user you want to block.
Click the Block button next to their name.
⚠️ Note: Blocked users cannot participate in chats, leave feedback, or view the members list regardless of the event’s privacy settings. After removing a user from a private event, they will lose access to the event and will no longer be able to acess it even via a direct link.
2. Through a user's comment:
If a user has left a comment on an event post, click the icon next to the comment (three dots).
Select Block for the event.
⚠️ Note: This method allows you to block even those users who are not members of a public event.
3. To unblock a previously blocked user:
Go to the event page you manage.
Click on the Settings tab in the menu under the event cover.
Select Blocked users.
Click Unblock next to the name of the user you want to unblock.
⚠️ Note: Unblocked users will not be automatically re-added to the event but will be able to access the event’s page and join on their own.
