Method 1: Via the user's profile

1. Go to the profile page of the user you want to message.
2. Click the “Message” button under the profile cover.
3. A chat window will open, where you can type and send your message.

Method 2: Via the “Messages” section

1. Click on the “Messages” icon in the main menu (☰ — top left corner).
2. If you have already chatted with the user — find them in the chat list and click the chat.
3. If not, click the “New Chat” button (icon with a “+” sign).
4. In the “To” field, start typing the name or nickname — select the user from the list.
5. In the input field, write your message.
6. Click “Send”.

Method 3: Quick chat with friends (desktop)

1. On the right side of the screen, you see avatars of your friends.
2. Click on a friend’s avatar — a chat window with this user will open instantly.

⚠️ Note: Users can restrict who can send them messages. If you are not allowed, you cannot start a chat, but can reply if the user messages you first.
