How to hide an unwanted post from your feed or report it
If you see a post that is uninteresting, annoying, or violates the rules, click the arrow icon in the top right corner of the post — a context menu will open with these options:
Hide this post
Click to hide a specific post from your feed. This signals to the system that you do not want to see this content, and it will be hidden from you.
Unfollow [Post author's name]
This function allows you to stop seeing posts from a specific author (user or community) without having to remove them from friends or unfollow entirely. All posts from this user will disappear from your feed, but you will remain friends or subscribers (if you were before).
You can view and restore all posts and users you have hidden from your feed. To do this:
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner (desktop) or bottom right corner (mobile/app).
- In the menu, select Account Settings.
- Go to the Blocking tab.
- In the "Hidden from News Feed" section, you will see a list of all users whose posts you have hidden. Click Remove — and their posts will reappear in your feed.
This function allows you to notify the administration about a post that violates community rules, contains hate, spam, disinformation, pornography, incitement to violence, or other unacceptable content.
Reports are reviewed by moderators manually. If the violation is confirmed, the post will be removed and the author's account may be restricted or blocked.
These features help you maintain a safe, comfortable, and interesting environment in your news feed.
